Why MGBA vs. Average Travel Ball
The typical travel program costs 3–4× more. Here's exactly what the difference looks like — and what you actually get for it.
Most travel programs measure success in tournament wins and trophies. We measure it in how well a player develops — their mechanics, their baseball IQ, their attitude, and their effort. Wins follow development. Development doesn't follow wins.
Every dollar in the fee goes directly into the player experience — paid coaches, field time, uniforms, and competitive exposure at four regional tournaments. No budget line for overhead, facilities, or program prestige markups.
A 2025 survey found 25% of travel baseball families have pulled from savings or emergency funds to cover costs. We built MGBA's travel program so that the right players can stay in the game without that kind of financial pressure.
