From Citizens Park to the Tornadoes — Aiken's Development Path
The City of Aiken Parks and Recreation program at Citizens Park is where Aiken's young players get their first competitive baseball experience. Rec programs build team identity, game reps, and love of the sport — but they cannot replicate the individual development that closes the gap between rec ball and SCHSL varsity baseball.
MGBA fills that gap. Individual lessons and Saturday camps give Aiken-area players access to coached development outside of rec season. Players who start that work at 10U and 12U arrive at Aiken HS tryouts with mechanics and habits already trained — not hoping to learn them in ninth grade.

MGBA Programs in Aiken for Tornadoes Players and Prospects
MGBA serves Aiken HS players and the surrounding community with four programs: individual lessons, Saturday development camps, the 2027 CSRA community league, and a developmental travel team for 12U and 14U players.
The travel team operates at a maximum of 10 tournaments per year with at least two practices weekly and written development reports. Tryouts are required.
